Junior School - Curriculum

Class teachers and specialists are currently preparing to deliver the National Curriculum in a variety of innovative, interesting and challenging ways. The Key Learning Areas of the NSW Board of Studies form the foundation of the College class programs.

These include English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, History and Geography, Creative Arts, Personal Development and Health (PDH) and Physical Education (PE). Class activities are often centred on a unit of inquiry that integrates many of the Key Learning Areas.

Stage based classes from Year 1 upwards allow for a variety of strategies in differentiating learning. Specialist teachers in PE, Music, Italian and PDH add to the variety of learning opportunities children have in our Junior School.
