Junior School - Parent Helpers

There are many and various ways parents can be involved in the education of their child. One of the most important is to encourage a mindset of growing and learning that looks at challenges in a positive way and works with the class teacher in fostering resilience, effort and improvement.

At various stages in the Junior School parents have opportunity to be a part of class based programs. These are advertised by the class teacher and parents are welcome to respond. There are relevant checks and confidentiality agreements that need to be completed. Activities such as literacy and reading group assistance, art assistance, help on excursions and special events and involvement at carnivals are some ways parents can support the staff and students at school. The Parents and Friends Association is also an excellent way to become involved.
