P&F - Meetings and Reports

The P&F constitution clearly sets out the purpose of the association as a group within the College committed to “friend and fund raising.” They include:

  • Bringing together and fostering good relationships between community members.
  • Promoting the interests of and contributing to the future development of the College.
  • Organising activities which assists the College with resources and promote community involvement.

Membership is open to the parent or guardian of past and present pupils. An annual voluntary levy is generously supported by parents and this contributes significantly to annual fund raising. Activities of the P&F include the annual Community Fair, stalls on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, catering for and welcoming new parents on Orientation Day and a range of activities throughout the year.

While many parents may not be able to attend meetings we greatly value those who make themselves available to assist throughout the year.

There are numerous times throughout the year when Shellharbour Anglican College is enriched by the generosity of spirit of those involved with the P&F. Meetings are held on a Monday night at 7:45pm and aim to be timely events.

The real work of the P&F is completed by the sub groups committed to specific activities and we therefore keep our whole P&F meetings to a minimum.
