Senior School - Head of Senior School Message

As I write this message I am one of the newest members of the Shellharbour Anglican College community. I have as much to learn about my new setting as the almost one hundred new students who will join us shortly for their first day at the College. There are some things that I have discovered already.

The Senior School years enjoys the opportunity to see boys and girls grow into young men and women who have been encouraged to strive for their personal best and utilise their God given talents. Our commitment to servant leadership and service learning aims to develop responsible community members who are well prepared for life beyond Shellharbour Anglican College.

For a relatively young and small school there is a broad selection of subjects available to students, particularly during the HSC years. Academic endeavour is clearly valued and encouraged in the students and the growing academic reputation of the College reflects the collaborative efforts of students, staff and families.

I look forward to sharing the educational journey of the staff and students of the Senior School and serving the College community.

Mr Peter Gibson
